Steve Jobs, co-founder, chairman and chief executive of Apple Inc., chief executive of Pixar Animation Studios, and the leading visionary and innovator of our time is being celebrated with an international exhibition titled: Open Apple Steve. Memoriam: an aesthetic homage to Steve Jobs.

Curated by Ty Marshal, artist in residence at The Tech Garden in Syracuse, New York, more than 20 artists will be exhibiting work focused on or inspired by the late Steve Jobs. Marshal states, “I’ve realized how deeply Steve Jobs and his creations have empowered us as artists. He’s given us amazing tools to highlight the creativity of the human race.”

Opening on November 16th, 2011 and running through January 16th, 2012 at The Tech Garden, a mix of well known and emerging artists from the international community are participating, including: Edwin Fang (Los Angeles), Michael Cavna (Cartoonist for the Washington Post), Blain Hefner (Designer for Salt Lake Tribune, Utah), Iwasaki Nagi (Japan), Felice Arena (Children’s Author, Australia), and pre-eminent digital artist Jose Paulo Reis (Portugal).

Other artists include: Steve Pauley (Brooklyn, NY), Joshua Jenkins (Kentucky), Shelby Jay Harris (California), Bacilia (California), Dylan Roscover (California), Brandt Hardin (Tennessee), Debbie McIlHenny (Georgia), Gilderic (Belgium), Laura Moran (Ireland), L. Lee McIntyre (Germany), Chris Culy (Germany), Vimal (India) and Vipul Prajapati (India), Candie Salvador (Phillipines) - with Central New York artists to include: Kathryn Petrillo, Ryan Diana, Vicki L. Harris, Paul Melnikow, Isaac Bidwell, Ellen Leahy and Matthew Keeney.

Artist work will be on display in the gallery at The Tech Garden, alongside images of Steve Jobs being projected inside the building and a streaming broadcast of the exhibit will be on view beginning on November 16th at the following web address: http://www.ustream.tv/channel/thegallery-thetechgarden

Paratore Signs of Syracuse is the sponsor for the Steve Jobs show. This is the first international art show at The Tech Garden, featuring works from artists across six continents.
